Designing Your Website

After an initial consultation where you describe your site requirements, we provide a proposal detailing our costs for developing a site plan, creating the design, developing content, and web mastering the site.

After agreeing to the proposal, we develop a site plan detailing how many pages the site will include and how the navigation between the pages will be structured.

Once you agree to the site plan, we develop an initial graphic look for your site and provide a temporary test web on our site for you to review.

After your approval of the initial graphic look and copy, we continue with the individual pages and test post the entire site for your approval.

During the test site phase, we continually revise the site until you are satisfied with its appearance and performance.

When the test site has been finally approved, we optimize the pages, register the site with the appropriate search engines, and upload the site to your web host.

Ongoing Maintenance

Occasionally you will have sections of your website such as calendars and scheduled events that require regular updating. We would be happy to offer you ongoing maintenance at a nominal fee.

At your option, there are software programs such as Adobe's Contribute that will allow you to change editable portions of your website without fear of destroying the layout of the page. If you desire to utilize a product like this, we can design your website accordingly.

Domain Names and Web Hosting

Besides the actual design, you will want your own domain (www.yourdomain.com), and you need a web hosting service for your website.

Curlytop works with some excellent hosting firms who offer both services, with very reasonable hosting fees ranging from $4 to $10 per month, and domains costing less than $10 per year. Curlytop does not make any profit on your domain and hosting; we just want you to have a reliable service that will satisfy your web hosting requirements with minimal or no downtime.

We are happy to handle and/or talk you through setting up your web hosting. For web setup, our charge is $50, but if Curlytop designs your website -- no charge!

Graphics For Print

In addition to web design, Curlytop offers desktop publishing services as well. Here are some examples of a print brochure and business card we designed for our client Cindy Anderson as an adjunct to her website.

We also design newsletters and flyers. Prices available on request.
